Brackish Waters Restaurant is located on the western bank of Robertson Lake near the convergence of the Pascagoula and Escatawpa Rivers at the southern foot of Hwy 613 Bridge in Moss Point, Mississippi. Tidally influenced by the ebb and flow of the Gulf of Mexico at the pass of Pascagoula, the ecosystem of Robertson Lake is dependent upon its brackish water. Darin Matthews, the General Manager and an owner of Brackish Waters Restaurant was born and raised in Moss Point and has long dreamed of revitalizing the Moss Point waterfront with a counter service seafood restaurant accessible by boat and car. After careful consideration Darin selected the 5542 Main Street location to make his dream a reality. Through hard work and passion Darin strives to provide a family-friendly dining experience that embodies his childhood memories of Moss Point and growing up on the river --- ENJOY!
After purchasing the building located at 5542 Main Street Darin worked diligently with government entities to establish sufficient parking, rebuilt the pier, constructed a ground level deck and crawfish boil room, renovated the kitchen, overhauled the HVAC, and furnished the dining room / patio.
Years of planning and months of hard work are now on display daily at Brackish Waters Restaurant. Patrons visit from near and far to enjoy waterfront dining and picturesque scenery.
Come for the food; stay for the views!
